COVID 19 Symptoms – What to Look for:
- Anyone can have mild to severe symptoms. Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions such as heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19.

- The Coronavirus Self-Checker is an interactive clinical assessment tool that will assist people ages 13 and older, and parents and caregivers of children ages 2 to 12 on deciding when to seek testing or medical care if they suspect they or someone they know has contracted COVID-19 or has come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19. Testing – Considerations for who Should get Tested:
- People who have symptoms of COVID-19.
- People who have had close contact (within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes) with someone with confirmed COVID-19.
- People who have been asked or referred to get testing by their health care provider or by the Department of Health.
- Not everyone needs to be tested. If you do get tested, you should self-quarantine/isolate at home pending test results and follow the advice of your health care provider or a public health professional.

5 Things to Know about the COVID-19 Vaccine

The safety of COVID-19 vaccines is a top priority.
COVID-19 vaccination will help protect you from getting COVID-19 and will help your body fight the virus if you are exposed. Two doses are needed.
After COVID-19 vaccination, you may have some side effects. This is a normal sign that your body is building protection.
Cost is not an obstacle to getting vaccinated against COVID-19.
COVID-19 vaccines are one of many important tools to help stop this pandemic. Wearing masks, hand washing, and social distancing help lower your chance of being exposed to the virus or spreading it to others.
